September
August started busy and ended busy. September has been calm, and I am grateful. My 9-month old is crawling everywhere, she gets frustrated with me when I walk back and forth too fast she can't keep up. Life shouldn't be fast, and she reminds me to stop and appreciate. Last week, I stopped to get a snow cone before summer ended, because that's the one thing I don't like letting summer go without! Strawberry is my favorite, with some cream. Not too much syrup, hopefully, but that depends on the person making it. Living in place where a medium doesn't cost $3.50 is so nice. I found a great activity to take Elizabeth to after an eventful summer, something a baby would enjoy and she loved it. I will be taking her each week, maybe twice a week. She makes me work hard for a laugh because she likes to hold them in, but when I finally get her to let it out, it's worth the work! Her actions make appreciate everything more. Again, I'm 22 and I'm new to blogging. I had always considered starting one but I never got around to it. September is a green and brown month; time for reflection, organization, discoveries, harmony, peace. I do believe the outside reflects the inside; that we bring about what we think about the most. I am uncluttering my spaces, sometimes hard with everything becoming toys somehow but still achievable. August was eventful, with visits, moving, babysitting, school, and other adventures. September is half-way gone, but there's much to look forward to. My brother-in-law is getting married in Washington! I've never been there before and I love weddings! The Tri-State fair is coming and, even though I won't get on the rides this year (at least I don't think I will), I enjoy walking around and seeing everything, maybe playing a couple of games. My little nieces will be dancing for the festival in my hometown this weekend... I am hoping it won't get cold randomly like it did last year. I'm packing extra clothes this time in case it does! My husband missed it last time so I'm glad he'll get to see them this year. And today is... also my brother's birthday. :)
